In the words of D:Ream "Things can only get better"

15 2nd team players and a slightly stroppy teenager (earlier bed time on Friday maybe?) Arrived on time ready for back to back wins for the first time, buoyed by knowing that we had all of our defence missing. Following an exceptionally detailed whiteboard session and questionable music choices (Spotify premium cuts out the adverts....) we took to the pitch.

The attacking prowess that had seen us score 6 goals the week before was certainly in sight and following good movement down the right we secured a short corner and Hayden slapped the ball to the back post for a great deflection from Frosty to put us 1-0 up, you'd think that this would be the solid foundation for another fantastic win, well you'd be wrong. That was as good as it got and that's where this report ends, hockey was played and we ultimately went down 5-1.

Dick of the day was yours truly (Fred) for correctly informing the umpires where to stick some questionable decisions, the purple bruise in the exact mould of a hockey ball would indicate that it was definitely lifted (knowledge of the rules I find always helps in this situation)

Man of the match - Sim for some exceptional composure on the ball and being rock solid in defence and providing a platform to send the ball forward. Honourable mention to Will in goal for keeping the score down when it could been so much worse. Matt breaking his hand rather summed up the day....

In the words of D:Ream "Things can only get better",

P.S thank you for dick of the day outfit for warning. The legion drinkers will definitely enjoy the latest edition to the rather fetching outfit
