Andover 2XI vs Trojans 3XI

On Saturday 28th October, 12 Andover men’s 2nds players made the journey to Eastleigh to this play trojans 3rds.

Andover started the game with no substitutes as Tom managed to put the wrong postcode in and end up at the British Legion in Andover. With several defenders missing a makeshift back 3 of Stampy, Tom and Jack was used. Trojans took an early lead, and soon after added a second.

Andover soon replied when Ben Goacher scored a fine goal, after some good play from Guy and Stampy. However before half time Trojans extended their lead to 3-1.

Andover started the 2nd half well with some good inter-play but were soon undone by the pace of the Trojans attack, with them adding 4 more before the end of the game. Overall it was a disappointing performance from Andover, however there were moments when the team linked well together. Man of the Match was Charlie Latter and Dick of the Day was Jack Fish.
