AHC M2 vs Fareham 4

On Saturday the 20th January Andover men’s 2s lined up for there 2nd post Christmas game. With a terrible performance the weekend before Andover knew they had to do better. A strong 12 players turned up highly motivated and ready to play well against Fareham. The early stages of the game were tightly fought, with both sides having great opportunities to score, however it was Fareham who got the first goal.

At half time Andover tried to rally themselves knowing they were still in the game. However a dip in the quality of Andover’s passing resulted in Fareham being able to score 4 more throughout the 2nd half. When the final whistle went Andover came off knowing they had allowed themselves to get down after conceding first, something that has plagued them all season.
