U16 boys V Bournemouth Tigers (A)

Andover travelled to Bournemouth and showcased their awesome defensive line up, who worked hard to support their pretty prolific attackers today.

Starting with a strong defence & midfield, including Captain Ethan M, Alex F, Alfie B, Oscar T, Toby D, Edward W, Edward P, and Will P, along with goalkeeper Luca T, they formed an impenetrable wall, denying Bournemouth a single goal.

The away team's goal parade began with a powerful strike from Felix J, setting the tone for Andover's dominance. Peter T followed suit with a precise finish, and Felix J added another goal to his name shortly thereafter. Ollie W joined the scoring frenzy with a brilliant goal of his own.

Sam P went on to net two consecutive goals, extending Andover's lead to 6-0. Josh W made his mark on the scoreboard, with a well-executed shot followed by Ollie W again and Sam P adding one more goal, securing the first hat trick of the day.

As the match drew to a close, Felix J scored his third to bring it to an impressive 10-0 only to see Ollie W complete his own hat trick. The final score standing at 11-0 in favour of Andover.

This remarkable performance was a true team effort, testament to the hard work of all the boys. The defenders and goalkeeper Luca T providing a solid foundation for the attackers to shine. Last but not least a mention for their excellent coach Olly Bridge (himself an Andover First Team player), his hard work with the boys has set them up for some entertaining games ahead.
