Andover u12 boys battled back well to eqaulise in the final quarter and end their first league game of the season with a creditable draw.
A confident Chichester side arrived at Andover having won their first league game and they were soon into their stride with some well executed attacks. Andover, playing in their first game of the season, and with many players learning to adapt to new positions, and playing on a full size pitch for the first time, took a little time to get settled.
Chichester took the lead with a well executed attack, and despite the home team carving out some decent chances of their own, they went into the half time break one goal down. In the third quarter Andover attacked with more purpose and Alex Birmingham was on the end of a well timed pass from Xavier Cash to level the scores.
The fourth quarter was all action, first Chichester regained the lead with an excellent, individual run and finish. Andover continued to exert sustained pressure and eventually equalized with Alex grabbing his second of the game following earlier approach play from Ben Thomson.
It was a good performance from the whole side, there was good passing and defensive work on show and the team worked tirelessly for each other.
