Andover u12 boys travelled to Basingstoke on Sunday for their last league game before the Christmas break and put in a polished performance to win 7 - 2.
This was a very creditable performance by the whole team that saw competitive defending and increased composure in attack to make and score several fine goals. Alex Birmingham led the way and found the net four times, William Taverner scored twice and Xavier Cash also got on the score sheet.
In the last third of the match, and with Andover pushing for more goals, Basingstoke managed to score from a penalty corner and from a swift breakaway - but that did not detract from a great win by Andover.
Well done boys and Merry Christmas!
