Eldridge Hat trick steals the show but Panszczyk stole the Teas!

This was a clash of third versus fourth and Andover knowing only a win would keep them on track for their promotion push. Andover started well and began to get into their rhythm quickly. With all the early pressure it was still Bournemouth who scored first against the run of play with an absolute rocket from the top of the D. In the past Andover would have probably folded at this point but again the side stayed calm and after some quick short passes they opened up the Bournemouth defence for Rob Eldridge to score the equaliser. This was the kick start the Andover side needed and a second was soon to follow when Matt Hodgson picked up the re bound and calmly put the ball into the net. This was how it was to stay until the end of the first half.

Andover started brightly in the second half but lost there shape a little with some tired legs so mid way through the second half Andover decided to make a change and put four at the back to protect the lead. This seemed to settle things back down and Andover struck again with Eldridge scoring his second. This gave Andover the cushion and as Bournemouth pushed to get back in the game Andover scored a fourth which was the goal of game Hodgson drove a ball to the back post for Eldrige to complete his hat trick with one of his cheeky goals a through the legs flick.

Another great squad performance with everyone playing their part which has been the story of the season so far.
