Andover hosted Portsmouth and Southsea for their last game of the season. Andover started full of confidence having won their last 5 games but it still took 22 minutes to break down a well organised Portsmouth team. The first goal came through Andovers top scorer Rob Eldridge this seemed to settle the nerves and a further two goals came one Matt Hodgson and 1 from Managers Player of the season Jonah Graham. This lead was taken into the break at half time.
Second half Andover came out guns a blazing which was to prove to much for the Portsmouth side. Goals came from 3 more for Hodgson 2 more Eldridge 1 more for Graham Tom lee added another along with Sam Richards and first goals of the season for Liam Kavanagh and Jacob Marie
Final score 13-0 to Andover Clean sheet bonus to Will Hemming in goal who had a very quite afternoon.
Man of the Match went to Jonah Graham to cap of a great season for the youngster.
Rob Eldridge voted best dressed player with a nice shoulder-less number(has now promised to get a new shirt for next season)
Thanks to Tim and Alan.
Big thanks to the team for making it such an enjoyable second season for me playing hockey and a 1st in managing a side.
