Andover Ladies II 0 -v- Alton 7

Although Andover Ladies 2s lost this weekend against top of the division Alton, their guts and determination in fighting to the bitter end could not be faulted.

An excellent performance by a young and inexperienced team did not let Alton have it all their way which paid off to their credit in the 2nd half of the game where fantastic defensive work from Allmark, Johnson and Buckley kept the opposition at bay together with some outstanding saves from keeper Shelley.

Next week the ladies face bottom of the division Gosport, who they beat 1-0 when they last met.
