An away game to top of the division Fareham this weekend, saw an impressive first half performance with defenders Horne (man of the match), Knight, Johnson, Grimsey and keeper Fettes keeping at bay a staunch of attack from the home side, leaving them 1-0 down at half time.

Andover had an excellent opportunity in the 2nd half through Prior, but she was unfortunately denied by a very skilful keeper and as exhaustion set in the team finally succumbed to the onslaught and a plethora of goals followed from Fareham’s relentless attack.

Andover will take the confidence from the first half of the game forward to next week’s home game against Haslemere.
