The Diamonds third league game of the season was as tough as it gets against last years run away champions Petersfield. The Visitors played with a confidence & quality that meant they dominated possession and the Home defence was under constant pressure.
Petersfield's quality soon turned to goals scoring their first from a well worked penalty corner then adding two further open play goals before the interval.
Andover competed better in the second half but the defence were still under pressure, keeper Dave Rutherford made a number of excellent saves & defenders Oostendorp, Panszczyk & Li all put in men of the match performances restricting Petersfield to two further goals in the second period.
