After a few minutes reflecting on those that have made the ultimate sacrifice over the past one hundred years before the game started, the two team soon settled down to business.

The Andover Hurricanes certainly reaped havoc for Haslemere this weekend as they tore the visitors apart in a 13-0 victory. The determination of the Andover team, coupled with their brilliant skills set them aside from the opposition. The first 20 minutes of play was the best they have played to date with the girls working well pushing the ball wide and working the channels. When in the D the girls worked together to draw the keeper and pass the ball off to their waiting team mate to slot home - the Saturday morning training sessions are definitely reaping rewards.

T opened the scoring after just 4 minutes from a long corner. Haslemere then dug in keeping Andover out of the goal with some excellent keeping. T then started a bit of a goal fest when in the 15th minute she expertly drew the keeper before pulling the ball back and slotting it home. Two minutes later Liv drew the keeper and despite having a chance for the goal passed the ball the T who had a better shot for her hat-trick. A minute later Polly joined T on the score board with a lovely drive from the half way that carved through the Haslemere defence.

The second third started well with Martha smashing a difficult bouncing pass from T in to the back of the net. With the score 5-0 the girls started to lose their shape and started to return to their bad ways of following the ball. As a result there was little action until the 32nd minute when Evie picked off a rebound from a great save by the Haslemere keeper who could not make the second save.

The final third saw the girls once again finding their shape and with Haslemere having lost all their drive Andover mercilessly took advantage and we saw Jess hitting home from a short corner in the 43rd minute, before a minute later once again finding the net. Two minutes later Evie got her second, before Indie started the twin's bid to make the score sheet.

With the score mounting fast, we swapped the defence with the forwards with completely threw AB who was not sure what a goal looked like when having to try to score in it. Not to be left out and to better her twin, Liv opened up her scoring run in the 53rd minute before a minute or so later expertly poaching the ball from Sion and slotting it home.

All in all a commanding performance that showed some awesome play from the Andover girls. Well done everyone.
