Weather off for a well earnt win

With a slightly changed format, using 2 inside forwards just behind the attacking 3 (old school!), andover started fast. Inside the first five minutes Jonah went down in the d and Angus powered the straight strike from Eds precise injection from the short. Jonah unfortunately played no further part but it would be only fair to say he ran the defence ragged whilst he was on the pitch.

Winchester were no push over - they fielded a good side (some recently through to Hampshire U14s, ) so our boys needed to tackle with determination and attack with intent. The goals kept coming with Zac getting two across the line, Erik picking up a belting through ball from just in side the half to run it past the keeper, and Olly scoring a cracker too.

Above all else, the difference was the boys played as a unit, rolling out, left passing and using each other to progress down the pitch. Great game boys, keeping eating the weetabix to keep the passing strong (!) and best wishes to Jonah ( i had your hotdog for you mate!)
