Andover u14 boys travelled to Aldershot and Farnham for their first league game of the season and came up against a strong and disciplined side that passed and moved well. There were some good passages of play for Andover, particularly where they moved the ball out wide and passed the ball up the channels. In defence, Freddie Walkom put in a sterling performance and pulled off a number of saves and was greatly assisted by a typically composed performance by Tom Duffield at sweeper.
In the end, Andover were somewhat overpowered and despite some good attacking opportunities came up a little short this time.
Well done guys, there's plenty to work on in training but you should be proud of your efforts and your work rate.
