Andover u14 boys played Camberley and Farnborough on Sunday and after an end to end battle the honours ended up even with the match drawn 2 - 2.
In the first period it was Andover that were the dominant side and it saw them repeatedly attack the below strength away side. Will Taylor picked up from where he left off in the last game and rifled in a strike from a short corner and Peter Thomson pounced on a loose ball to score his debut goal at u14 level.
In the second period, the away side came more and more into the game and their tireless workrate saw them start to profit. They ended up scoring a couple of good goals, one from a breakaway and a second from a well worked move in the D.
The final period was a ding dong affair with both teams attacking and defending to the last man. A typically resolute performance from Freddie Walkom and some inspired tackles by Jake Chadd and Joe Gallop kept the opposition attack at bay. At the other end of the pitch, Will Taverner and Rory Glover were tireless in their running.
Well done boys, onwards and upwards to our next game, away at Yateley on 11th November.
