Andover u14 boys lost on Sunday to a strong Camberley and Farnborough side. This was a tight game with Andover taking the lead twice through William Taverner, and holding the visitors for long periods, but ultimately the better side won.
Haydn Carr put in another fine performance in goal and grew in confidence throughout the game. The defence played well, however at crucial moments there was not enough communication between them and the midfield, which allowed the Camberley forwards to break towards them with time and space on the ball. In attack, Andover put together some fine passing moves and but for a little more composure would have created more opportunities and scored more goals.
Well done boys, we will learn from this game and work on our basics and our structure.
