Welcome to the U8 Team page

We welcome children from age 6 up to and including Year 3. Training takes place on a Saturday morning from 08:55am to 10am at the AstroTurf pitch at Charlton Sports Centre (in between The Sports Academy and the athletics track). Postcode SP10 3LF will take you to the Car Park. All children must have:

Gum Shield for all training and matches
A hockey stick
Shin Pads
Appropriate clothing for the weather
Grippy gloves
Named water bottle

2022/23 Training Starts 16 September with the last session on 1 April 2023.

In the event of snow laying on the pitch or a severe overnight frost we may need to cancel the training session at short notice. If cancellation is possible, a member of the team will inspect the pitch on Saturday morning at 08:20 and will broadcast a message to the Pitchero Club app if the session is cancelled.
